AI Engineer - API & Tooling

What you will build Capabilities spanning: • Platform APIs & Control Plane (tenant configuration, quotas, policy enforcement, audit logging) • Workflow Services (execution APIs, long-running jobs, retry/idempotency patterns) • Experience & Output Composition (chat/JSON plus briefs/reports/decks with citations and approvals) • Identity, Authorization & Governance hooks (RBAC propagation across tools/data/retrieval) Responsibilities • Build multi-tenant APIs with versioning, backward compatibility, and policy enforcement. • Engineer reliability: idempotency, retries/backoff, circuit breakers, backpressure, safe degradation. • Build output services to generate regulated-ready artifacts (reports/briefs/decks) with provenance and approval workflows. • Implement audit trails: immutable event logs and request traces suitable for enterprise controls. • Production ownership: monitoring, runbooks, incident participation, release readiness gates.
